Several political consultants warned days ago that the negotiations between PSOE and Podemos were like a poker game. There are less than 24 hours left until the second and final investiture vote takes place and at the moment the negotiations between the PSOE and Podemos are stuck. The socialists have given a new Middle East Phone Number Listultimatum to Podemos: they are not going to make any more offers. Even so, it is not unlikely that there will finally be an investiture this Thursday. The situation of Podemos today is radically different from that of last week: those of Iglesias have managed to establish themselves as a solvent force that must be counted on to unblock the formation of the Executive.

Until then, the socialists had justified the lack of agreements with the purple ones—after more than five fruitless meetings between Sánchez and Iglesias— with the demands of the latter. It was not until the investiture debate that started last Monday when Iglesias revealed that in reality the PSOE had not transmitted alternatives to Podemos when it came to entering various ministries. It was a tough speech and very applauded. It is not the first time that Iglesias achieves a coup de effect. This 'Churches effect' already took place in the electoral debates that took place in the campaign leading up to April 28, both in the one that took place on RTVE and in the one that was broadcast on Atresmedia.
