What projects have you done while studying at GeekUniversity
— How many job offers did you receive after training? How did you choose an employer? — During and after my studies, I received three offers. A couple more pecked, but the need for them disappeared by itself. I selected vacancies based on two criteria: what kind of project it was and how long it was to travel to the office. I stopped at my current position, among other things, because I knew my future boss from his appearances on podcasts and at meetups. — Maybe you can share some tips on how to pass interviews? - In fact, everything here is banal.Open vacancies, see what technologies the employer is interested in, feel it with your hands - study it at least 0% - and then feel free to start going for interviews. I wrote the backend, and also acted as a full-stack developer when creating the admin panel of the service and deployed everything to the server. We discussed the project at meetings via Google Hangouts, and the code review was a collective one. — Why do you think the project “didn’t take off”? Something went wrong? — The rest of the team and I had no experience, so mistakes were inevitable.
